To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in
the browser
window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click
on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four
"margins"
to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being
cutoff
during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section. Click To Go To
Page 2
to see the permanent items of the newsletter.

Golf Committee Presentation What
is new this coming year and what is not. Get out of your comfort zone
and help prospect for some special sponsors with the form provided. We
need a "Title" sponsor by Devember 31st. No change in the
format, but the fee is raised to $100 and it includes two free
mulligans, and possibly a nice golf shirt if we can get a sponsor to
pay for it.

FSU Circle K Thanksgiving Feast for 85 HOPE Community Residents THIS Sunday, November 18th. You can contribute
food, beverages, utensils, serving items or cash. Send your checks made

Thank you with a banner patch from Kiwanis International Foundation for our annual Gift Campaign contribution. Things we can help with this holiday season The
AKtion Club is adopting the Brehon Institute for Family Living, which
is a home for soon to be mothers and mothers of recently born babies.
They provide a temporary home and training for future independent
living. Currently there ar nine residents. The
Aktion Club is providing them with food for Thanksgiving and Christmas
and some helpful items for basic functions of the home. We
can help with: cleaning supplies of all kinds, baby clothing for
ages 0 - 6 months, baby wipes, diapers, pots, pans and other
household items. Bring them for Bob Bull.
Capital City Kiwanis Nut SalesOne
of the Capital City Kiwanis "nuts", Jim Wylie, brought us an order
sheet for holiday nuts. Just sign up for what you want and they will be
delivered. If you missed it you can email Jim to give him your order. There were several items (cashews and peanuts??) for $10. He can tell you about the others. FUTURE

immunizations this year. Shots are available at various
grocery and drug stores, and the Health Dept. SHINGLES SHOTS The vaccine is available. Shots cost $200 part of which may be covered by insurance.

NUZUM had a nice article and photos about his WWII bomber pilot
experiences on page 13A of the Veterans Day Section of the November
11th Democrat. JACK KERWIN is using oxygen at home at Heritage Oaks. George Sweat is still consulting with physicians. THE DOWNING'S are visiting family in South Florida. BOB
GRAGNANI was, once again, in the Veterans's Day parade with a photo and
a quote in the paper. He was the sailor in sun glasses on the float.

Our club wrote a check for $4,000 in October. Each individual is encouraged to contribute on

A good, close-by opportunity to get to a District Convention. Plan a mini family get-away. Florida Foundation Caring Corner at the District Convention
The money goes to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation to use for the benefit
of Sponsored Programs. We have already received a $5,000 grant this
year for our Playground Project and the Division 3 Miracle Field project received $10,000 last week.

Keeps Kitchens Clean" is the aKtion Club's own Joe Crosby -- a charter member
and Past President of the club. He was President when the aKtion Club won the
Democrat's Community Service Award. He rarely misses a meeting or a community
service event. He and Nicole get to evening meetings an hour early because
that's when the last bus of the day gets them there. There have been articles about several of our AKtion Club members in the special about The Disabled.

AKtion Club initiative to raise funds for “bed kits”. These kits cost
$25 each and were described in fliers circulated by Bob Bull. Sponsoring

has vetted and approved. Florida Kiwanis and KI will match money raised by Aktion clubs up to $200.
Killearn Kiwanis will match up to $200 raised by our AKtion Club.
