Aluminum Tabs and Box Tops for Education Coupons
Bring them in for Tommy Mills
November 6, 2009, Tommy Mills and Marvin Doyal picked up and sold 336 pounds of tabs.  They received $.35 a pound or $117.60 for Ronald McDonald.  They each spent  2 hours on the project.
In case  this sounds familiar, on October 28, 2009, Tommy and Marvin picked up and sold 334 pounds of tabs for $116.90
.
Many thanks to Marvin Doyal for staying involved with our club projects.
Aluminum Cans
Remember to bring in your cans for Jim Varley. It would help if you rinse them out.

PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIR
KATHY COLE has taken over public relations and needs your help with articles on our many projects. Give her as many details as possible and she will submit an article. We need to publicize our service as much as possible. It will help with membership growth.

Book Projects
President Jim Barger delivered 65 books for all the Pre-K students attending Celebration Baptist Pre-K program.  Each of these books had a Killearn Kiwanis sticker placed on the inside of the front cover.  Additionally, he delivered 20 books for the Pre-K and Kindergarten class library.  These books will be used by the teaching staff to read to the students while in school.
A total of 85 books were delivered.

Ms. Pam Louck, Program Administrator
Another 65-70 books are on their way from Fl. Dept of Agr (most likely arranged by Beth Carter).  These additional books are about agriculture and are written at a small child level.  We will donate these books to the Celebration Baptist Kindergarten Students

This fulfills one of District Governor Donna Parton's suggested projects.

Are Your Dues Due?

Collect Wire Clothes Hangers This is an on-going Southside Club project to raise funds for their children's projects. Clean out your closets and bring in the hangers. Bring them to the meeting and Chuck Walter will give them to Gavin Boone who will take them to the Southside Club.

HOW TO MAKE UP MISSED MEETINGS TO MAINTAIN YOUR PERFECT ATTENDANCE RECORD
Simply attend a meeting of another club, including AKtion, Key, K-Kids, or another Kiwanis Club, a Division Council meeting, a club project, or a Board meeting.
With all
these possibilities there is little reason not to have perfect attendance.

To Do List:
Get your guest's email address and send him/her the link to our Newsletter each week.

Increase your efforts for the coming year.

Help us grow toward better community service.

PERFECT ATTENDANCE AWARDS
Tell Secretary Al Eppinger how many years are shown on your current perfect attendance tab, if you have one. Also, tell him how many years you have earned. This includes previous membership in other Kiwanis clubs. This is not for calender years. It is for one year of consecutive  meetings and/or makeups.

HUMAN & SPIRITUAL AIMS

Happiness depends on what we are, not on what we have.
