Short, Funny Stuff
Gentle Thoughts for Today--

You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.

HOW TO MAKE UP MISSED MEETINGS TO MAINTAIN YOUR PERFECT ATTENDANCE RECORD
Simply attend a meeting of another club, including AKtion, Key, K-Kids, or another Kiwanis Club, a Division Council meeting, a club project, or a Board meeting.
With all
these possibilities there is little reason not to have perfect attendance.

To Do List:
Get your guest's email address and send him/her the link to our Newsletter each week.

Increase your efforts for the coming year.

Help us grow toward better community service.

PERFECT ATTENDANCE AWARDS
Tell Secretary Al Eppinger how many years are shown on your current perfect attendance tab, if you have one. Also, tell him how many years you have earned. This includes previous membership in other Kiwanis clubs. This is not for calender years. It is for one year of consecutive  meetings and/or makeups.

Membership Growth Development
- A member/guest social will be scheduled in October.
- A two year trial for a new membership category has been developed for people who would like to serve but can't make a commitment to regular attendance. They will need to agree to participate in one service per month and attend one regular meeting per month. The usual initiation fees will apply but the dues will be only $40 per quarter. If they want to eat at the meeting they will pay our regular charge of $8. A visit to one of our sponsored programs will count as one of the required monthly meetings.
Make a special effort to approach potential members (including former members) in the next two weeks. If they can't do regular membership tell them about this new alternative.
