To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in
the browser
window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click
on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four
"margins"
to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being
cutoff
during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section. Click To Go To
Page 2
to see the permanent items of the newsletter.

EDUCATION DAYS IN THE DISTRICT" thanks to the efforts of many Division
Kiwanians. Guests: CHUCK NUZUM, son of Charlie. JIM WYLIE. PROGRAM Associate Head Coach Cori Close Florida State Women's Basketball
 Using
basketball to teach players to be "Givers" not "Takers" and make them
committed to being people of character. High expectations for the
coming season. Project 3000 to sell 3,000 season tickets for the
2008-2009 season. The entire season (11 home games) for only $30 for

Special Membership Drive Day NEXT WEEK, September 18th Bring
potential members. Call George Sweat to let him know how many you will
have. We need to make up for some losses before the end of
September. George Sweat pleads for help so we won't wind up the year on
the negative side after losses due to resignations and deaths. CERTAIN COMMITTEE/PROJECT CHAIRS ARE TASKED WITH GIVING BRIEF 2 -3 MINUTE DESCRIPTIONS OF WHAT WE DO.
New Gretchen Everhart Project Our
"construction manager" Charlie Esher, will lead the contruction of a
new "Musical Bass Wall" at the GE playground. Sections will be built at
Charlie's house and assembled at GE. Help will be needed at both
locations.

memorial fund has reached $895 from more than 18 individuals (Club members and others from around the country). Past Secretary
George Easterbrook, sent a check for $50 from Lewiston, NY. Funds will be placed in an endowment with proceeds to be used for a golf tournament trophy memorializing Charlie.

encourage individual donations the Board has voted to match each
member's contribution. Our club is within $1,500 of its original
$10,000 goal. That means we, as individuals, only have to come up with
$750 to be matched by the Club.Overall for the project $15,000 additional has been raised. About
$35,000 is still needed. John
Ryor has a list of businesses we are assigned to contact for
sponsorships and donations. He has details to help with your
solicitation. Ask him how you can help. Jim Wylie says consistency is the key. ------- The
Football Luncheon fund raiser will take
place October 7th at The Silver Slipper. Our club has reserved tables for 16 seats. Reserve

The Southside Club recently held a Texas Hold-em party and raised $300 for the Miralce Field. AWARDS FOR 2007-2008 Committee
Chairs must submit committee reports to the District online at the
District web site to be eligible for awards. It is easy once you get

you don't feel like you are involved enough in community service there
is plenty to be done. Now is time to tell President designate Dave Colombo how you want to be involved this coming year. The list of committees and projects

Aluminum cans (not the tabs) for recycling. Secretary Jim Varley has
volunteered to collect what we bring in and take them to recycling. Preferable they should be crushed, but bring them either way. ------- Continue to collect the tabs and bring them to CK.
DISPOSE OF YOUR FLAGS PROPERLY Bring
them to Bob Gragnani and he will take them to the American Legion for
proper retirement. Or you can take them to the mail box at the Legion
marked "Flags".
