To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section.

New Kiwanis Club Formation at Southwood. A first actual meeting will be held in the near future. If you know of people who live or work in that area give their name and number to Al Eppinger so he can invite them. 25th Anniversary Celebration A really good turnout and a great program recognizing past presidents, many still in the club, and former members Phil Loggins (1st president) and Bruce Host (2nd). Also beautiful plaques for the three remaining charter members, Charlie Nuzum, Chuck Walter and John Robbins. Lt. Gov. Nancy Shank presented a plaque of The Objects of Kiwanis to President Tommy Mills. Guests included several members of other Division Clubs and many spouses. Thanks to the organizers John Ryor, George Sweat, Tommy Mills, Al Eppinger, Jim Varley and Jim Barger and anyone else overlooked. Another of our original charter members, Jim Swenson, passed away Monday, August 27th. Keep our ill and grieving members and families, and travelers in your prayers. SOUTHERN SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION RAFFLE The Foundation rafflle of 2 Seminole season tickets was won by someone named Randy. The money raised went to the SCF for the Ralph Davis Kiwanis House. Miracle Field Fund Raiser "Tackling The Miracle", a football oriented luncheon event with former players and represemtatives of the Seminoles, Gators, and Hurricanes, etc. It was a very fun program, and good BBQ too. Over $4,000 was raised. Our club attendees observed were: BARGER, BOONE, COLMERY & FRIEND, THE DOWNINGS, THE EPPINGERS, FACKENDER, LUEBKEMANN, MILLS, RYOR, SWEAT, THOMPSON, VARLEY, WALTER. KEY CLUBBER ROBERT MOORE WAS ALSO PRESENT. October: Miracle Walk Fund Raiser Miracle Walk for Kids on October 13th at Messer Park. The parents group in the city/county has called after seeing the recent Democrat coverage and and will help with the walk.. Key Clubs are on board and Robert Moore will assist in turning out Key Clubbers DISTRICT GOVERNOR ELECT MARK TAYLOR'S GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR. Al Eppinger passed on these goals. 1. Clubs participate in Guardian ad Litum 2. Have a midnight madness new member induction on September 30th at midnight. 3. Each Division add 100 new female members in the first 3 months of next year. 4. Take kids to a ball game on April 5, 2008. ----- DIV. 3 LT. GOV. ELECT AL EPPINGER'S TENTATIVE GOALS FOR NEXT YEAR 1. Florida Kiwanis and KI will match money raised by Aktion clubs up to $200. Killearn Kiwanis will match up to $200 raised by our AKtion Club. Key Club  Web Site First meeting: August 28th.
