The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in
the browser
window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click
on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four
"margins"
to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being
cutoff
during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section. Click To Go To
Page 2
to see the permanent items of the newsletter.

September. ---- New Gretchen Everhart Project Our
"construction manager" Charlie Esher, will lead the contruction of a
new "Musical Bass Wall" at the GE playground. Sections will be built at
Charlie's house and assembled at GE. Help will be needed at both
locations.

September 4th at 6 PM there will be a cookout at the house and we are
invited to bring food items and paper products for their pantry. There are 13 scholarly
young men who live there. ------- The
Southern Scholarship Foundation is again having a raffle for two FSU
season tickets. The seats are on the 35 yard line at the 38th row. See
John Ryor for your $25 tickets. The drawing will be THIS TUESDAY, August 26th.

Ground breaking - the week of July 10th. Ribbon cutting in September. To encourage individual donations the Board has voted to match each member's contribution.$15,000 additional has been raised. About
$35,000 is still needed. Responsibility to be divided between
the 6 Leon County Clubs. More details about which businesses we are assigned will soon be available. The
Football Luncheon fund raiser will take
place October 7th. Our club has reserved tables for 16 seats. Reserve

K-KIDS PROJECT The DeSoto Trail administration accepted our offer to set up the K-Kids program. Our committee is composed of Al
Eppinger, Tommy Mills, John Ryor, Eric Metcalf and LeRoy Thompson. This club will start when school begins in
August and will be formed in conjunction with the Student
Council. The initial "Start Up" meeting was Friday, August 15th at 9AM. --------- The Gilchrist Elementary K-Kids club is also getting underway and HELP IS NEEDED. Contact Al.
