To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on FILE again. Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should be a "Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a Range of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select "Print Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section.

ANOTHER LOSS CHARTER MEMBER CHARLES NUZUM passed away Saturday, August 2nd at about 2:30 PM at TMH. There will be a service at Culley's on Tuesday or Wednesday. Ralph Davis Scholarship House Work Days THIS Saturday, August 2nd, 8-noon at 825 Conradi Street, more painting to do. Just show up to help. Miracle Field News Ribbon cutting in September. About
$50,000 still needs to be raised. Responsibility to be divided between
the 6 Leon County Clubs. The Football Luncheon fund raiser will take
place in October. More details later. Miracle League Web Site Click Here to View. Kiwanis Catalog An order sheet for various types of Kiwanis items is circulating with a catalog for members to order. Get it and enter your order. Jim Varley will send it in and get your reimbursement. Special Killearn Kiwanis Pins In the box on the sign-in table there are special pins for our club. Paul Downing paid $20 to have them given to those members who don't have them yet. AWARDS FOR 2007-2008 Committee Chairs must submit committee reports to the District online at the District web site to be eligible for awards. It is easy once you get the feel of it. Board Meeting Minutes July 16th Serving The Club If you don't feel like you are involved enough in community service there is plenty to be done. Now is time to tell President designate Dave Colombo how you want to be involved this coming year. The list of committees and projects is on page 2. Click here to review it. Provide secretary Jim Varley with details of money spent, number of members participating and miles traveled. MEMBER NOTES THE ESHER'S will be visiting around the Southeast until August 8th. THE BULL'S at the beach. THE GRAGNANI'S to Chicago 4-12 August. THE EPPINGER'S have enjoyed the company of their granddaughter recently. JOHNNYE & HEINZ are at St. George Island. Keep our ill and grieving members and families, and travelers in your prayers. K-KIDS PROJECT The DeSoto Trail administration accepted our offer to set up the K-Kids program. Our committee is composed of Al Eppinger, Tommy Mills, John Ryor and LeRoy Thompson. The Division 3 objective is to have each club sponsor at least one new K-Kids Club. This club will start when school begins in August and will be formed in conjunction with the Student Council. Gilchrist Elementary is also very interested in working with us on a K-Kids club. District Convention August 21-24, 2007 Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront President John Ryor, Pres Elect Dave Colombo and Richard Ziegler will be our delegates. Your registration form is on page 11 of the new Florida Kiwanian Magazine. A good, close-by, opportunity to get to a District Convention. Plan a mini family get-away. Let's have a good showing to support retiring Lt Gov. Al Eppinger. Florida Foundation Caring Corner at the District Convention The money goes to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation to use for the benefit
of Sponsored Programs. We received a $5,000 grant last
year for our Playground Project and the Division 3 Miracle Field project received $10,000. Read your August - September 2008 Magazine On page 14 you will see our Division 3 leading 95 projects and 744 service hours. Incredibly, some District clubs have amassed over 4,000 hours (one has 6021 hours with only 121 projects).
