To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in
the browser
window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click
on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four
"margins"
to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being
cutoff
during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section. Click To Go To
Page 2
to see the permanent items of the newsletter.

Inspirational presentation about mentoring to other people and the long term impact it can have.
Ralph Davis Scholarship House Work Days Wednesday, July 23rd, help Al and Bob Bull with pressure washing and yard work. Saturday, July 26th, more yard work. Saturday, August 2nd, painting and more yard work. On
September 4th at 6 PM there will be a cookout at the house and we are
invited to bring food items for their pantry. There are 13 scholarly
young men who live there.

Ground breaking - the week of July 10th. Ribbon cutting in September.About $50,000 still needs to be raised. Responsibility to be divided between the 6 Leon County Clubs.

*Two AKtion Club meetings *$49.03 in loose change to our treasury. *29 items of clothing for delivery to the TMH New Born Intensive Care Unit *$50 to purchase Kiwanis Brochures for Greensboro Club *Post Office undeliverables (16 tubs) passed on to Refuge House *$400 to Dictionary Project for purchases *Ralph Davis Scholarship House work day July 23rd and 26th
NOTE:
If you are aware of any activities that should be added above advise
the editor and the secretary. Provide secretary Jim Varley with details of money spent,
number of members participating and miles traveled. MEMBER NOTES SWEAT visited family in Colorado. Some others are traveling. THE ROBBINS visiting the Napa Valley with old friends. Keep our ill
and grieving members and families, and travelers in your prayers.
K-KIDS PROJECT The DeSoto Trail administration accepted our offer to set up the K-Kids program. Our committee is composed of Al
Eppinger, Tommy Mills, John Ryor and LeRoy Thompson. The
Division 3 objective is to have each club
sponsor at
least one new K-Kids Club. This club will start when school begins in
August and will be formed in conjunction with the Student
Council. Gilchrist Elementary is also very interested in working with us on a K-Kids club.

NEW PROJECT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR ADMIN ACCOUNT Collect
Aluminum cans (not the tabs) for recycling. Secretary Jim Varley has
volunteered to collect what we bring in and take them to recycling. Preferable they should be crushed, but bring them either way. ------- Continue to collect the tabs and bring them to CK.
DISPOSE OF YOUR FLAGS PROPERLY Bring
them to Bob Gragnani and he will take them to the American Legion for
proper retirement. Or you can take them to the mail box at the Legion
marked "Flags".

The money goes to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation to use for the benefit
of Sponsored Programs. We received a $5,000 grant last
year for our Playground Project and the Division 3 Miracle Field project received $10,000.
