To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on FILE again. Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should be a "Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a Range of Pages". If you select print "all" normally it will be 7 pages. On subsequent issues you can select "Print Pages 1 - 7" and you should get all of the current news section.
To print page 2 with the permanent club information click on page 2 below and use the same instructions.

NEW CHEF, Will introduced. ------ PROGRAM  Bob Orsillo's Annual Hurricane Report and Projection. How the forces of nature dictate the frequency and force of hurricanes. This may be a mild year. A source of information: Dr. Gray at Colorado State U. Board Meeting Report - Rick Theobald approved for membership, - Dictionary Project to be conducted by November this year. Norm Mears will need some assistance when the time comes. - $200 donated to the Jr League to help with back packs for students. Kathy Cole. - Richard Zeigler emailing Key clubbers to get ready for a quick start for the new year. UNDIES REPORT Johnnye reported spending $86 + on 14 sets for Refuge House and saving $103 with the usual generous discounts allowed by Jim Gooden at Bealls. GEORGE EASTERBROOK'S NEW ADDRESS Past Secretary George and Donalda have moved to 2660 North Forest Rd #226 Getzville, NY 14068 Golf Committee Lessons Learned meeting Next week, July 23rd Right after the regular meeting for only about 30 minutes. SOMETHING NEW IN MEMBERSHIP Alternate and Associate membership concepts exist. George Sweat will explore the concepts with a membership sub-committee including Johnnye Luebkemann and Steve Mayberry. Another project for you to help. Al Eppinger made an appeal for help with a new Builders Club. We need a Chair and several committee members to handle the establishment of the new Builders Club at Deer Lake Middle School next school term. You will be steered to the right information. A very worthy project for children. Help keep up our momentum for service to children. Soccer Tournament at The Miracle Field? this Fall? Need 3 members to assist with directions and crowd handling. Moved and seconded to assist this effort. John Ryor was the first volunteer. Monies earned by the volunteering club members at the Soccer Tournament will be used in our Club’s Administrative Fund to cover administrative costs incurred by the club. ----- Kickball night; July 24-25 HELP NEEDED - ASK AL. THE COOPER'S are off for another charity golf tournament in South Carolina. Pam's mother and father began this golf tournament to assist a food bank organization there many years ago. Since her father passed away, her mother has remained active in assuring its success; so much so that she makes sure all her children and grandchildren participate! THE LATOUR'S back from Spain and now off to Chicago, Annapolis and Kentucky, and expecting a new grandchild in Annapolis. THE SWEAT'S leaving Friday for a cruise from Montreal to Boston. THE MILLS' and will be going in the same general direction and beyond via motorcycle. THE DOYAL'S headed to Las Vegas for a Fraud Investigators Conference. Over that time costs $5.00 HOW TO MAKE UP MISSED MEETINGS TO MAINTAIN YOUR PERFECT ATTENDANCE RECORD Simply attend a meeting of another club, including AKtion, Key, K-Kids, or another Kiwanis Club, a Division Council meeting, a club project, or a Board meeting. With all these possibilities there is little reason not to have perfect attendance. COMMITTEE CHAIRS SUBMIT ALL YOUR MONTHLY REPORTS FOR THIS YEAR. It is the only way your committee can be eligible for District awards. If you get behind you can catch up on the past due reports.
