To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on FILE again. Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should be a "Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a Range of Pages". If you select print "all" normally it will be 7 pages. On subsequent issues you can select "Print Pages 1 - 7" and you should get all of the current news section.
To print page 2 with the permanent club information click on page 2 below and use the same instructions.

Guests: RICK THEOBALD, back again. JIM WYLIE, Capital City Club back again too. ------ PROGRAM  Keith, Jean Baeringer and Tom Brown Culley's MeadowWood End of Life Choices, benefits of preplanning, taking the stress off survivors. Tallahassee Fuller Center for Housing Tom Fackender sent us all a letter on July 4th reporting on The Center's recent activities and plans for the future. Be sure to read it and see if there is a way you can help. The Center's web address is http://tfch.org Here you can see photos and more information about their work. Today's project: Fix a bath room floor for an elderly lady in Havana. SOMETHING NEW IN MEMBERSHIP Alternate and Associate membership concepts exist. George Sweat will explore the concepts with a membership sub-committee including Johnnye Luebkemann and Steve Mayberry. Golf Tournament The Complete Photo Album Click Here! Al Eppinger made an appeal for help with a new Builders Club. We need a Chair and several committee members to handle the establishment of the new Builders Club at Deer Lake Middle School next school term. You will be steered to the right information. A very worthy project for children. Help keep up our momentum for service to children. Soccer Tournament at The Miracle Field? this Fall? Need 3 members to assist with directions and crowd handling. Moved and seconded to assist this effort. John Ryor was the first volunteer. Monies earned by the volunteering club members at the Soccer Tournament will be used in our Club’s Administrative Fund to cover administrative costs incurred by the club. ----- Kickball night; July 24-25 The 1st Invitational Tournament with teams from out of state participating. EDUCATIONAL NOTE Click here to check these items each week to learn about Kiwanis history and trivia. MEMBER NOTES A lot of members will be traveling the next month or so. Attendance will be down so it is important that you make every effort to attend when in town.  Richard Zeigler entering the Greensboro 4th of July 5K Run; with Greensboro Kiwanians, Richard and Richard. --------- THE GRIFFIN'S are at Hilton Head Island THE COLOMBO'S to Michigan for two weeks. THE COOPER'S are off for another charity golf tournament in South Carolina. Pam's mother and father began this golf tournament to assist a food bank organization there many years ago. Since her father passed away, her mother has remained active in assuring its success; so much so that she makes sure all her children and grandchildren participate! THE LATOUR'S back from Spain and now off to Chicago, Annapolis and Kentucky, and expecting a new grandchild in Annapolis. THE SWEAT'S leaving Friday for a cruise from Montreal to Boston. THE MILLS' and will be going in the same general direction and beyond via motorcycle. THE DOYAL'S headed to Las Vegas for a Fraud Investigators Conference. Get off to a good start by doing it now. Get the recognition we deserve. Serving The Club If you don't feel like you are involved enough in community service there is plenty to be done. Now is time to tell President Dave Colombo how you want to be involved this coming year. PERFECT ATTENDANCE AWARDS Tell Secretary Al Eppinger how many years are shown on your current perfect attendance tab, if you have one. Also, tell him how many years you have earned. This includes previous membership in other Kiwanis clubs. This is not for calender years. It is for one year of consecutive meetings and/or makeups. CANS FOR JIM BRING IN ALUMINUM CANS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR ADMIN ACCOUNT Collect Aluminum cans (not the tabs) for recycling. Jim Varley will collect what we bring in and take them to recycling. Preferably they should be crushed, but bring them either way. ------- Continue to collect the tabs and bring them to Marvin Doyal. BOOK COLLECTIONS Remember books for the Veteran's Clinics. Over that time costs $5.00 HOW TO MAKE UP MISSED MEETINGS TO MAINTAIN YOUR PERFECT ATTENDANCE RECORD Simply attend a meeting of another club, including AKtion, Key, K-Kids, or another Kiwanis Club, a Division Council meeting, a club project, or a Board meeting. With all these possibilities there is little reason not to have perfect attendance. COMMITTEE CHAIRS SUBMIT ALL YOUR MONTHLY REPORTS FOR THIS YEAR. It is the only way your committee can be eligible for District awards. If you get behind you can catch up on the past due reports.
