To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in
the browser
window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click
on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four
"margins"
to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being
cutoff
during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of
the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section. Click To Go To
Page 2
to see the permanent items of the newsletter.

Elections - Treasurer Vacancy The Treasurer
position still needs to be filled. Please step forward and be willing to
serve. Jim Barger will be a good teacher. Call Dave. On June 18th the Board approved Al Eppinger as new Secretary for the forthcoming year (2008-09)

If you are aware of any activities that should be added above advise
the editor and the secretary. Provide secretary Jim Varley with details of money spent,
number of members participating and miles traveled. MEMBER NOTES Another death in the Mayberry family. AL EPPINGER & TOMMY MILLS attending the International Convention in Orlando. Some others are traveling. Keep our ill
and grieving members and families, and travelers in your prayers.
K-KIDS PROJECT The DeSoto Trail administration accepted our offer to set up the K-Kids program. Our committee is composed of Al
Eppinger, Tommy Mills, John Ryor and LeRoy Thompson. The
Division 3 objective is to have each club
sponsor at
least one new K-Kids Club. This club will start when school begins in
August and will be formed in conjunction with the Student
Council. Gilchrist Elementary is also very interested in working with us on a K-Kids club.

The money goes to the Florida Kiwanis Foundation to use for the benefit
of Sponsored Programs. We have already received a $5,000 grant this
year for our Playground Project and the Division 3 Miracle Field project received $10,000.

29th, District Governor Mark Taylor visited the State Cabinet meeting and received a proclamation
honoring Florida Kiwanis from Governor Crist. AKtion Club member Resa
and a member of both Circle-K and Key Club were in attendance to meet
both Governors. ------
