To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in
the browser
window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click
on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four
"margins"
to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being
cutoff
during printing.
To print click on
FILE again.
Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should
be a
"Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a
Range
of Pages". If you select print "all" normally it will be 7 pages. On subsequent issues you can select
"Print
Pages 1 - 7" and you should get all of the current news section. To print page 2 with the permanent club information click on page 2 below and use the same instructions. Click To Go To

Greensboro July 4th Celebration Highly recommended.See a special tribute to local veterans in the form of crosses lining the street along HWY 12. A significant community contribution by a small, but active Kiwanis Club. De Big Fish At the Gretchen Everhart work day: George Sweat, Jim Barger, Charley Esher, Steve
Mayberry and Tommy Mills. This Sunday, the 14th is Flag Day and Richard Ziegler's birthday. Fly your flag.
Tabs and Education Coupons Marvin Doyal reported that he and Tommy Mills delivered 530 lbs of tabs to recycling collecting $106 for Ronald McDonald House. Also delivered many Education coupons to Gretchen Everhart. Training for the new officers will
be THIS SATURDAY, June 13th, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, at the Fellowship Baptist Church on North Monroe St.
Meet at Barger's about 7:50 to carpool. Everyone is invited and this is a good session, especially for newer
members who have never attended before.

Work is not yet completed. Cards and letters of thanks are being developed. If you obtained sposorships you will be asked to send these "Thank You's". Al
Eppinger has some colorful collages of our activities to send with your
letters to show them some of what they are helping us do. Thank You cards have been mailed to the players. ----- We had 36 tee/green sponsors, 4 major sponsors and about 7 players.
Another project for you to help. Need
a Chair and several committee members to handle the establishment of a
new Builders Club at Deer Lake Middle School next school term. You will
be steered to the right information. A very worthy project for
children. Help keep up our momentum for service to children.

THE COLOMBO'S to Atlanta for the birth of a grand daughter. THE KRAUSES will be moving to Orange Park to be near their daughter about the end of June. THE PAUL DOWNING'S had to cancel their cruise due to illness. THE BULL'S will be visiting Boston, Montreal and Toronto the next two weeks. Later MILLS and SWEAT (separately) will be going in the same general direction and beyond.

Chairs must submit committee reports to the District online at the
District web site to be eligible for awards. It is easy once you get
the feel of it. Get off to a good start by doing it now. Get the recognition we deserve. Serving The Club

is plenty to be done. Now is time to tell President Dave Colombo how you want to be involved this coming year.

attendance tab, if you have one. Also, tell him how many years you have
earned. This includes previous membership in other Kiwanis clubs. This

HOW TO MAKE UP MISSED MEETINGS TO MAINTAIN YOUR PERFECT ATTENDANCE RECORD Simply attend a meeting of another club, including AKtion, Key, K-Kids,
or another Kiwanis Club, a Division Council meeting, a club project, or
a Board meeting. With all these possibilities there is little reason not to have perfect attendance.
