To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on FILE again. Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should be a "Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a Range of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select "Print Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section.

Guests: An interclub from the Capital City Club selling Vidalia Onions. PROGRAM Mike Phillips, FDLE Information about his job at FDLE which involves setting up a system to tie together all the different responders at all levels of government.  Click here to view the PRESIDENTS MID YEAR REPORT FOR APRIL 24, 2008 AWARDS FOR 2007-2008 Committee Chairs must submit committee reports to the District online at the District web site to be eligible for awards. It is easy once you get the feel of it. GUARDIAN AD LITEM CHILD ADVOCATES II Their upcoming fund raiser is NEXT FRIDAY, May 9th. Sounds like a fun evening from 5 - 8 PM with complmentary Kool Beanz hors d'oeuvres and dirnks; and five houses to view in the new Evening Rose subdivision. Only $30. See Jim Varley to get tickets. Board Meeting Minutes April 19th LAKE JACKSON PANCAKE BREAKFAST Saturday, April 26th. We had a great representation of ten members and spouses. MICCOSUKEE LITTLE LEAGUE Go see them play the next 5 Saturday mornings from 9 - 1 pm start times. T-Ball at 9 am, Machine pitch at 11 am, older youngsters at 1 pm. Elections Committee Dave Colombo announced the slate of: President, Dave Colombo; President Elect, Jim Barger; Directors: until 2010, Johnnye Luebkemann and Tom Fackender; to fill Marvin Doyal's seat until Sept 2009, Steve Mayberry. The Secretary will be named by the new board. The Treasurer position still needs a candidate. Please step forward and be willing to serve. Call Dave. Nominations from the floor will be allowed NEXT WEEK, May 1st. However, anyone nominated must have aggreed to serve in advance. Elections will be next week, May 8th. Havana Club Golf Fund Raiser Tee off following a lunch on May 30th. $50 per person. George is trying to get a foursome together. Call him. Golf Tournament Prize Donors/Sponsors Last date to make the Luncheon Flier and Big Board at the Pro Shop is next Thursday, May 1st, 8 AM. Serving The Club If you don't feel like you are involved enough in community service there is plenty to be done. Just ask President John Ryor how you can help. The list of committees and projects is on page 2. Click here to review it. OUR 22nd ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC In three days it will all be over for another year. In the mean time there is plenty to do to be prepared on Monday, May 5th. Provide secretary Jim Varley with details of money spent, number of members participating and miles traveled. MEMBER NOTES THE LUEBKEMANN'S visiting Panama City; and THE BULL'S visiting someplace. Keep our ill and grieving members and families, and travelers in your prayers. K-KIDS PROJECT The DeSoto Trail administration accepted our offer to set up the K-Kids program. Our committee is composed of Al Eppinger, Tommy Mills, John Ryor and LeRoy Thompson. The Division 3 objective is to have each club sponsor at least one new K-Kids Club. This club will start when school begins in August and will be formed in conjunction with the Student Council. WEAR YOUR KIWANIS PIN! New Kiwanis Club at Southwood The club is now officially organized and is meeting twice monthly on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at noon at The Southwood Welcome Center (Subject to change). There are 21 women and 11 men members. The Chartering Dinner will be May 19th. One of the members, Peggy Hinson, is helping with our hole-in-one monitoring. If you know of people who live or work in that area give their name and number to Al Eppinger so he can invite them. Miracle Field News  About $60,000 still needs to be raised. Each individual is encouraged to contribute on their own. Jim Wylie is giving this project his all. Call him to see how you can help him. Click here to print donation form.
