How To Print Your Newsletter
The following instructions apply to the MS Internet Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.

Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.

To print click on FILE again. Then click on PRINT.  A new print box comes up. There should be a "Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a Range of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select "Print Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section.

PROGRAM
Club History and Trivia
In the absence of the unknown scheduled speaker, Bob Bull spoke from the heart about the history of our organization as represented by the patches and other awards on the banners on the wall and encouraged everyone to become more knowledgeable about the Hixon Award.  Charley Nuzum also spoke of his pride in our organization and all it had contributed to our community over the years.  Richard Ziegler reported on the successful Lord Lawton Pageant held March 5th. Al Eppinger reported on Education Day, March 1st, at which we had 4 presenters (Eppinger, Sweat, Colmery and Ryor) and two other attendees (Barger and Colombo).

The George F. Hixson Fellowship
The Kiwanis International Foundation Board of Trustees created the George F. Hixson Fellowship in 1983 to honor the first Kiwanis International President. Click here to learn more.

Prize Donors
Outstanding among the prizes obtained so far are The Gem Collection (about $1,000 in jewelry and gift certificates) and Pebble Hill Plantation (1 year membership of two).

OUR 22nd ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
Many promotional efforts have been initiated. If you see, read or hear about our event in any media let the committee know so we can track our efforts.
Now is the time to get started in earnest with soliciting sponsors, prize donations and players.
Please use the available forms to give the sponsor/donor information the Don Griffin so he can build an accurate data base and post those names to our web site, and so we can properly thank them after the event. There will be many opportunities to help so keep listening to the requests. We have competition, so don't be a victim of procastination. Your donors and sponsors may tell you.."I gave to another tournament already." DO IT NOW!! The sooner you get your sponsors and donors the more exposure they get and the more time we have to work on the data bases. Steve Mayberry collects the player registration. It is possible for players to register online at our web site at http://www.killearnkiwanis.org/kgformat2008.html

MICCOSUKEE LITTLE LEAGUE
Play has started. George Sweat will be providing us with a schedule soon and encourages us to go see a game(s).
