To Print Your Newsletter
The following
instructions apply to the MS Internet
Explorer Browser, but other browsers will be similar.
Get the newsletter in the browser window. At the left end of the top menu line click on FILE. Then click on Page Setup. You will get a Page Setup Box. At bottom set all four "margins" to .25 inches. Click OK. This should keep the right side from being cutoff during printing.
To print click on FILE again. Then click on PRINT. A new print box comes up. There should be a "Print Range" section where you can select "Print All" or "Print a Range of Pages". The first time select print "all" so you will have a copy of the entire Newsletter content. On subsequent issues you can select "Print Pages 1 - 5" and you should get all of the current news section.

Week's Meeting February 28, 2008 Presiding: RYOR; Pledge: ZIEGLER; Song: BARGER; Prayer: BULL; Introduction: TAYLOR; Winner: GRIFFIN (AGAIN); Attendance: 24; Brag For A Buck: NONE. Guests: BECKY SAUERS, Southwood Golf Pro. Also, Jay Hurst was back and has applied to join. (Sponsored by John Robbins) PROGRAM Susan Davis Senior Foundation, Community Outreach Chair. The Senior Center and its outreach to rural areas. Life Long Learning. Grandparents as Parents.  PAST SECRETARY GEORGE EASTERBROOK sent his usual check for $200 to support our golf fund raiser. George and Donnie are both in their 90's now and living in the frigid north, Lewiston, NY. OUR 22nd ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC Golf committee meeting after the regular meeting. Becky Sauers, the Southwood Pro was our guest, and provided some suggestions to help with our tournament this year and in the future. It is time to get started in earnest with soliciting sponsors, prize donations and players. Please use the available forms to give the sponsor/donor information the Don Griffin so he can build an accurate data base and post those names to our web site, and so we can properly thank them after the event. There will be many opportunities to help so keep listening to the requests. We have competition, so don't be a victim of procastination. Your donors and sponsors may tell you.."I gave to another tournament already." DO IT NOW!! The sooner you get your sponsors and donors the more exposure they get and the more time we have to work on the data bases. Steve Mayberry collects the player registration. It is possible for players to register online at our web site at http://www.killearnkiwanis.org/kgformat2008.html AKtion Club Dempsey Mayo Road Pickup BULL AND COLOMBO helped 4 AKtion Clubbers as safety monitors. MICCOSUKEE LITTLE LEAGUE Play starts in next week. George Sweat will be providing us with a schedule soon and encourages us to go see a game(s). February Club Activities *Two Key Club meetins *Two AKtion Club meetings *Timberlane Road Pickup (6) *AKtion Club Dempsey Mayo Road Pichup *440 lbs of tabs delivered for Ronald McDonald House NOTE: If you are aware of any activities that should be added above advise the editor and the secretary. Provide secretary Jim Varley with details of money spent, number of members participating and miles traveled. MEMBER NOTES Ben Colmery recovering well from out-patient surgery. Keep our ill and grieving members and families, and travelers in your prayers. K-KIDS PROJECT The DeSoto Trail administration accepted our offer to set up the K-Kids program. Our committee is composed of Al Eppinger, Tommy Mills, John Ryor and LeRoy Thompson. The Division 3 objective is to have each club sponsor at least one new K-Kids Club. TALLAHASSEE CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT March 31st, at Southwood. We are hoping to get some participants. If you can play let Charley Esher know. A registration form is at the sign-in table. This year we are trying to set up a Division wide competition between clubs to see who can support other club's events the most during the year. WEAR YOUR KIWANIS PIN!
