Brag For A Buck: ZIEGLER; ran the 26 mile Mickey Mouse Marathon and the Donald Duck 1/2 Marathon (with his daughter) and won some great (heavy) medals for finishing both.

March 12 & 13th 2007 will be the official Governor's visit. Governor Phil will be in Tallahassee on Monday the 12th and then on Tuesday he will be at the Cabinet Meeting, where he will receive a resolution honoring Kiwanis. Lt. Gov. Nancy is planning on having a big Governor's Party on the 12th, at the Silver Slipper and she requests our support by attending. For more details check with Tommy.
*March 15 & 19, Habitat For Humanity Collegiate Challenge (College students for around the country coming to build two houses.) Tommy hopes we will help.
*March 30-31 & April 1st, Mid Winter Conference, Lake City; a great opportunity for new members to get more acquainted with Kiwanis.
Governor's Dictionary Project
The Board pledged $250 matched by a member giving us a total of $500.

March of Dimes is coming up.
Steve Mayberry will be our contact again this year.

Timberlane Road Cleanup Rescheduled

HELP WITH AKTION CLUB PROGRAMS
WHAT A SHY GROUP!!!
No one has responded to the note below.
Our members have many life experiences which would make good programs for the AKtion Club. Work, hobbies, travel, etc. Things you have done in your life are interesting to us and them. Let Chuck know what you think you might be able to present.
PLEASE!! Each member put their humility aside and prepare a 20-25 minute program about your life, occupation, favorite hobby or anything else, and let Chuck know you are willing. The AKtion Club members would love to hear about your life experiences. The first opportunity is January 25th.

MEMBER NOTES
BEN COLMERY is recovering nicely from an injury to his cheek and eye from a recent fall. JACK KERWIN is back home at Heritage Oaks. He welcomes visitors and phone calls at (386-3486). DON GRIFFIN is recovering and expects to be back soon. KATIE WALTER had a biventricular pacemaker defibrilator device implant January 29th and is recovering in the hospital. EDNA KRAUSE blacked out in the kitchen and is in TMH with a fractured back and undergoing other exploratory test. RICHARD ZIEGLER is over the flu which he got after destroying his immune system running those marathons.
Keep our ill and grieving members and families in your prayers.

to visit the Tallahassee Club with him on Feb 13th where there will be a special ceremony in honor of Gavin's Mother’s Father, former Div 3 Lt. Gov. of the Tallahassee Club Frank B. Leverette. She will be presented with a Ralph Davis Fellowship in his honor.

MONTHLY COMMITTEE REPORTS TO THE DISTRICT
In order to be eligible for a District Award committees must submit monthly reports via the District Web Site. It is easy with just a little learning. Chuck will give you personal traning so you can do it each month. Click on the link below and just try it. Go as far as you can, but don't "SUBMIT" your report. Just let it remain pending. Later, when you have all the information, you can go back and update it with complete correct information.

Gavin Boone, as chair of the Admin Committee, has offered to do the reports for those who cannot do it online themselves. Just give him a written report. However, try to do it yourself and save him a lot of time.
