Colombo called the meeting to order at 0700 HRS.

Minutes of the April 2009 meeting were reviewed and approved
as corrected.
Treasurer’s Report was read and approved: Jim Barger reported the following balances:
ADMIN: $1,660,
FOUNDATION: $18,133, FOUNDATION
CD: $10456. .
TOTAL: $30,249.60 . (Details
filed in club records)
OLD BUSINESS:
- Gretchen
Everhart Playground Musical Fish will have adjustments planned with music
teacher.
- Killearn
Home’s project delayed by association.
- Golf
Tourney earned $7952 or $1048 below budget. Excellent effort by all in a tough
environment and competing tourneys.
Need to thank sponsors and players.
- Lord
Lawton Scholarship winner Holly Wiggins will attend May 28 meeting with
parents to receive scholarship check..
NEW BUSINESS:
- Charles
LaTour granted a three month leave of absence.(June to August)
- The delegates
elected for Florida Convention are Colombo, Barger and Eppinger.
- Secretary
elected for 09/10, Charles Escher.
- Deer
lake Middle School Builders Club will need Kiwanian’s to assist Al
Eppinger in formation.
- Slate
of officers and directors was approved for presentation to club. Jim Barger President, Richard Zeigler,
President Elect, Bob Downing Treasurer, Charlie Esher, Secretary, Tommy
Mills Replacement Board for Dennis Faust, Pam Cooper and George Sweat, Directors.
- Dennis
Faust has resigned effective May 1st.
COMMITTEE REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- District
Convention in Orlando Aug 27 – 30. Need $200 of items for caring corner.
- Tallahassee
Little Theater with Tallahassee Club July 16. Tickets $20 in advance.
- Club
Leadership Training, June 13 at Fellowship Baptist, 8:30 to 3:30, $10 for
food.
- Fuller
Center foundation seeking workers to help with housing repair projects.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 AM sharp.
