Scott Whitehead, my successor, will be nominated as the 2010-2011
Division 3 Lt. Governor at the April 12, 2010 Division Council Meeting. Keith Roberts, Past Lt. Governor and chair of
the nominating committee, is looking for a Division 3 Kiwanian to serve as Lt.
Governor Elect next year and Lt. Governor the 2011-2012 administrative year. Below are the qualifications. If you are
interested please contact Keith Roberts.
A Kiwanian
for three years
An active
member of a Division 3 Kiwanis Club
Has served
as a club president
Has
consented to be a candidate for Lt. Governor Elect
Gives
assurances that he/she will attend all Division 3 meeting prior to taking
office and while serving in the office.
Will attend
the International and District Conventions.
Will attend
all Florida District Board Meetings while serving in the office.
Make the
necessary club visits and perform other duties as prescribed by the Florida District.

Monday, March 22 should
be on your calendar for the Governor’s dinner. A fun evening is planned. It will be held at the Ramada,
Division 3 membership is at plus four this year. Let’s continue increasing this number and
induct our new members at the Governor’s dinner. This is an opportunity for a very special and
memorable induction ceremony.
Golfers – see below for many opportunities to
play some golf and support your Division 3 Kiwanis Clubs.
Kiwanis Fun Cruise March 27 – April 3, 2010. There is still time to register. Join fellow Kiwanians and become one of the
“Kiwanis Kruisers” aboard the Costa Atlantica for a special Kiwanis fun filled
cruise. This is a great family reunion
opportunity (or an opportunity for you to relax without the family). Join Governor Donna and Bob for this unique Kiwanis
event.
What does your club have planned for Kiwanis One Day on
April 10th? This is an
opportunity to assure that “Kiwanis” become a household name. This is the time to show off our best service
work. It is a day of service to the
community. Try to get media attention for
your clubs project and use this event to help recruit new members.
