Football Raffle Tickets for Kiwanis House

Dr. E Ray Solomon is providing two season tickets on the 38 yard-line for all of the home game and a parking pass. Trying to sell more than 200 tickets this year.

o Please make sure that when you add a new member that the money and application get sent to Kiwanis International at the same time. The end of the year is coming on Sept 30th and the numbers you have on your roster must match Kiwanis Internationals numbers and rosters. We have had a lot of issues with this process.

o When you add a new member and send in that application to Kiwanis International, please make sure that the International Dues of $50.00 and the Florida Dist Dues of $25.00 are included with the application. This is where a lot of processes are breaking down. Every member needs to pay New Member add fees.

o We had 100% participation in our International and Florida Foundation Dues. Thank you very much.

o Distinguished Club status. We still have a couple of months to go and by my last tabulation 7 of 11 clubs will be distinguished.

o Re designed Kiwanis Web site. www.kiwanis.org Look at it. You will have to check the link on your website it may have disappeared as a result of this change.

o Resolution to cooperate with Rotary, Optimist, and Lions in efforts to magnify our efforts to serving children. Gavin presented the information so far on a Medical Mission in cooperation with Rotary and local churches 2008 to the Amazon River Basin. There will be a fundraising dinner and entertainment on August 4th, 2007 at the Monticello Opera House for $30 a person. 100% proceeds will go to financing the Medical Mission Trip the Memorial Day weekend 2008 – they will be providing dental, medical, spiritual and eye care for the children of the villages along the River. We will have a Kiwanis representative, Gavin on the trip.
