KIWANIS DIVISION 3
MISSION-GOALS

MISSION:  Global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

  OBJECTIVES: GOALS
ORGANIZATION:  Division 3 Kiwanis clubs grow!
Club membership increases by 10%.
Club presidents and their leadership teams are empowered by all we do.
There is a new club in Division 3.
Division and District support and recognition makes a difference.

MEMBERS:  Our clubs and Division have excited dedicated members!
Provide environment for every person to be a “Superstar”
Train each person to make more of a difference.(CLE, conventions, education days, printed materials, division activities)
Provide opportunities for everyone to serve and ENJOY our clubs.

CHILDREN:  Make a difference in the lives of children!
Have specific projects in every club targeting young children.
Grow the K Family.
1.    Support healthy growth in all of our existing family members.
2.    Add 9 K-Kid clubs.
3.    Continue current club projects for children.

COMMUNITY:  Make a difference in the lives of people in our communities!
Do projects and clubs in a way that focuses on the people served and serving.
Have projects that grow our clubs.
1.    Membership pride.
2.    Builds funds in and maximizes impact of our club Foundations.

WORLD:  Connect members to efforts that change Florida and the World.
Identify and support Division Projects.
Understand and contribute to Florida District Projects and Foundation.
Understand and contribute to Kiwanis International Projects and Foundation.


         Division 3
Projects-Activities

Purpose:  These projects and activities by the Clubs, Division and District will allow us to effectively reach our Objectives and Goals. 

Club
Each club leadership team will develop their own priorities based on their previous successes and new initiatives.  These will “fit” and challenge their growing membership.
The Division will be supportive of these projects and actions by promoting them and providing recognition for the club and individual members.  The Division will maintain a calendar of two to three club projects and actively promote other clubs and their community’s involvement.

Division
Form 10 new K-Kids clubs.
Complete and celebrate the opening of the Miracle Field.
Provide Dictionaries for 3rd graders in our communities.
Complete the addition of a new club in the Southwood area.
Have a Diaper Drop that involves all clubs and supports young children.
Have an excellent Governor’s visit on Jan 31.

Florida District
Membership growth through Midnight Madness, Special Guest Day, 100 women in 100 days.
First Lady Sharon’s Guardian Ad Litem Program
Kiwanis “Day at the Ballpark”  (Apr 5)
Kiwanis International Fund Walk. (Gov Mark, June 08, $1,000 per Division)
Caring Corner for Florida Foundation (August 07 and 08)
Convention Program Advertisement for Florida Kiwanis. (07 and 08)
